As Chi Omegas, we support sincere learning and credible scholarship, and care immensely about intellectual development. The women in this house strive to always “place scholarship before social obligation,” as is written in the Chi Omega Symphony. Chi Omega women always put scholarship before social obligation, so there is no need for study hours. Kappa Chapter has an all-house GPA of 3.648. This means out of all 41 greek chapters on our campus, we have the best grades. These women are consistently at the top of the all-Greek, all-sorority and all-women’s GPA rankings at the university. Our members have also won numerous national awards for their scholastic achievements at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln.
Chi Omega also has a long tradition of having members in three of UNL’s most prestigious academic honor societies: Mortar Board, the Innocents Society, and Omicron Delta Kappa. This year, we are proud to have eight members in Omicron Delta Kappa, one member in the Innocents Society, and five member in Mortar Board!
